When genetically engineered soldiers escape a secret military facility, Celeste has to defend her family. Dan Stevens, Rebecca Hall, Drew Starkey, Michael Biehn, Eric Wareheim, Reginald VelJohnson and UFC fighter Alex Pereira join her in the cast. AOL reported that Pereira plays a super-soldier called the Butcher, part of a group that also includes Crybaby and Cockroach. Those names promise a proudly unruly B-movie, as does the 92-minute runtime. Arjona sits at its center in a role built around physical danger rather than franchise mythology. Wingard has also connected *Onslaught* to *The Guest*. Yahoo reported that he described it as the third entry in a loose trilogy with *You’re Next* and *The Guest*, even saying audiences could technically call it a sequel because it shares the same universe. The Playlist’s interview with Wingard and Arjona likewise identified the common *Guest* world. That connection may give the film a later life with viewers who missed it in theaters.
