## Synopsis

Farz (transl. Duty) is a 2001 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Raj Kanwar, starring Sunny Deol, Preity Zinta, Jackie Shroff, Om Puri, Dara Singh and Mukesh Tiwari. The film was released on 12 January 2001.The film was a Superhit at the box office and created a hype for the Sunny Deol's then upcoming movie Gadar: Ek Prem Katha (2001) which was a blockbuster and achieved legendary status in the list of the iconic Hindi movies.
