It portrays the lives, struggles and adventures of three Singaporean youths—8-year-old and Primary 2 student Jerry Yeo Xueqiang, his 15-year-old brother Tom Yeo Xueqian Secondary 3 student and their 15-year-old good and best friend Lim Chengcai Secondary 3 student—who have a strained relationship with their parents.
