## Synopsis

The Story of My Wife is a 2021 romantic drama film written and directed by Ildikó Enyedi, based on the 1942 novel of the same name by Milán Füst. It stars Léa Seydoux, Gijs Naber, Louis Garrel, Sergio Rubini and Jasmine Trinca, and follows Jakob Störr (Naber), a sea captain who indifferently chooses a wife, but quickly becomes obsessed with her.
