# José Riesgo

television actor, actor.

A Spanish actor who fought in the Civil War with the Republican army and began acting in 1943, working for the next four decades. Late on he played Julián in Barrio Sésamo, the role that finally made him widely known — and he went on playing the same character on stage until he retired.
