Synopsis

If Pigeons Turned to Gold is a 2026 documentary film written and directed by Pepa Lubojacki. Her debut film is made using a highly personal, diary-like collage. Lubojacki tries to show where the family’s intergenerational problems come from; problems that keep appearing as serious addiction. Over five years, Pepa Lubojacki records the lives of four relatives, mainly his brother David, who struggles with alcoholism and homelessness.
