Synopsis

Johnny Guitar is a 1954 American independent Western film directed by Nicholas Ray starring Joan Crawford and co-starring Sterling Hayden, Mercedes McCambridge, and Scott Brady, with Ward Bond, Ernest Borgnine, John Carradine, Royal Dano and others in supporting roles. It was produced and distributed by Republic Pictures. The screenplay was adapted from a novel of the same name by Roy Chanslor.
