Synopsis
Loving is a 2016 biographical romantic drama film written and directed by Jeff Nichols about Richard and Mildred Loving, the plaintiffs in the 1967 US case decision Loving v. Virginia, which invalidated state laws prohibiting interracial marriage. Inspired by the documentary The Loving Story by Nancy Buirski. Ruth Negga and Joel Edgerton co-star as Mildred and Richard Loving with Marton Csokas, Nick Kroll, and Michael Shannon.
