The Foundation of Criminal Excellence

The Foundation of Criminal Excellence is a Latvian crime comedy film released in 2018 directed by Oskars Rupenheits. Produced independently and partially financed through crowdfunding, the film was released in Latvian cinemas on 2 February 2018 and achieved significant domestic box office success. The film was nominated for Best Feature Film at the Latvian National Film Awards, Lielais Kristaps, and won the Delfi Audience Award and attracted media attention for its humorous portrayal of Latvian criminal culture.
