Synopsis

The Intimate Stranger is a 1956 British drama film noir directed by Joseph Losey from a screenplay by Howard Koch, and starring Richard Basehart, Mary Murphy, Constance Cummings and Roger Livesey. It is inspired by Losey and Koch's real-life experiences in the Hollywood blacklist, and follows a blacklisted filmmaker (Basehart) trying to rebuild his life in England.
