Synopsis
The Man Who Knew Too Little is a 1997 spy comedy film starring Bill Murray and directed by Jon Amiel. The screenplay was written by Robert Farrar and Howard Franklin, based on Farrar's 1997 novel Watch That Man, and the title is a parody of the title of Alfred Hitchcock's 1934 film The Man Who Knew Too Much and his 1956 remake of the same title. Upon release, the film received generally mixed reviews and was a box office bomb, grossing just $13.7 million against its $20 million budget.
