A South Korean cinematographer, also credited as Alex Hong, who shot Bong Joon-ho's Parasite and Lee Chang-dong's Burning and has worked with Na Hong-jin, Kim Ji-woon and Hirokazu Kore-eda. In 2025 he became the first cinematographer to take the Baeksang Grand Prize for Film, for Harbin.
