‘Street Fighter’ Cast: 11 Actors, From Jason Momoa to 50 Cent

The October 16, 2026 film has locked in its central fighters, two WWE stars, a rapper and Eric André as a tournament announcer. The casting is clear; whether these very different performers can share one movie is the live question.

The new Street Fighter has a cast list now big enough to look like a convention schedule: Andrew Koji, Noah Centineo, Callina Liang, Jason Momoa, David Dastmalchian, Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, 50 Cent, Andrew Schulz, Vidyut Jammwal, Eric André and Olivier Richters. The film is set for October 16, 2026, and follows Ryu and Ken as Chun-Li recruits them for the World Warrior Tournament, where a deadly conspiracy waits underneath the punching. That is the useful news for film readers: the movie has stopped being a logo and become a very specific collection of choices.

Andrew Koji and Noah Centineo Lead a Fractured Ryu-Ken Story

Koji plays Ryu, a former warrior who tells the trailer that his path “is not one of combat,” Yahoo reported. Centineo plays Ken Masters, described in the first official trailer as a former champion martial artist turned “sideshow.” They are former allies, now estranged, and their reunion turns physical.

That gives the movie an immediate problem and a possible engine. Ryu carries the solemn martial-arts burden; Ken has the washed-up, bruised-comedian energy. DualShockers called Centineo’s limited action résumé a concern, pointing to his underwhelming Atom Smasher in Black Adam, while also noting that his newer work on The Recruit has changed some minds. The trailer’s brief Ken-Ryu fight apparently lets Centineo’s comic timing do some work. Good. Ken should not sound like a man auditioning for a monument.

Koji arrives with stronger physical credentials from Warrior, Snake Eyes and Bullet Train, according to AOL. Liang’s Chun-Li recruits the pair into the tournament, per Deadline as quoted by Yahoo. She has only two films and two television series listed in the DualShockers report, so this is a genuine career hinge, not a victory lap.

Chun-Li, Cammy and Dhalsim Test the Adaptation’s Nerve

Chun-Li remains the franchise’s essential star: Yahoo identifies her as the series’ first playable female character. The trailer shows Liang recruiting fighters, trading banter with Cammy and joining the action. That is plenty of responsibility for an actor still early in her career, after

Mel Jarnson plays Cammy. DualShockers notes her previous genre experience in the 2021 Mortal Kombat, but its account of the trailer sees Cammy mostly firing a bazooka and talking to Chun-Li about her thighs. Cammy began as a sex-symbol design and grew into a character with a darker origin and modern motivations. If the film keeps only the swimsuit-era shorthand, it will have adapted the silhouette and missed the person.

Vidyut Jammwal plays Dhalsim, the noble yogi who raises money for his poor village and stretches his limbs in combat. The trailer has already made his inclusion exciting and worrying, DualShockers reported. Stretching powers have a grim live-action record; the Fantastic Four films did not exactly teach Hollywood how to make elastic limbs frightening. Jammwal practices the Indian martial art Kalaripayattu, Yahoo noted, which helps with the fighter but does not solve the visual problem.

Jason Momoa, Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes Bring the Muscle

Momoa plays Blanka, the green-skinned, orange-haired Brazilian creature who conducts electricity. Yahoo reported that Momoa also serves as a producer and grew up sneaking off to friends’ houses and arcades to play Street Fighter. DualShockers’ concern is blunt: Momoa is not Brazilian. Its counterargument is stronger. He has spent years playing feral, oversized figures, and Blanka is a role built for that particular kind of wildness.

Roman Reigns, the ring name of Joe Anoaʻi, plays Akuma, the dark figure connected to Ryu. Yahoo places Akuma’s debut in Super Street Fighter II Turbo. Reigns has acting credits in Hobbs & Shaw, The Wrong Missy and The Pickup, but this could be a major villain role. DualShockers sees the danger: presence is not the same thing as performance. Reigns has spent roughly a decade becoming WWE’s top star, and that command may translate. The film has to give him more than a glare and a soundtrack cue.

Rhodes plays Guile, the Air Force soldier with the flat-top haircut and Sonic Boom attack. Yahoo reported that his wig uses yak hair; Rhodes said it never moved. That is the sort of detail publicity usually buries under “passion” and “fan service.” Rhodes has one prior feature role of real note, a comedic appearance in The Naked Gun, and the trailer appears to use Guile’s aggressive persona for laughs. It could be smart. It could become a joke that keeps explaining itself.

M. Bison, Balrog, Dan and Don Sauvage Fill Out the Fight Card

Dastmalchian plays M. Bison, the villain Raul Julia made gloriously excessive in the 1994 film. Yahoo reported that Dastmalchian prepared by playing Street Fighter II at arcades. He has the dramatic range—Late Night With the Devil proved that—but his familiar comic roles in Ant-Man and The Suicide Squad make the casting feel deliberately off-center. The film needs a threat, not a collection of eccentric eyebrows.

50 Cent plays Balrog, the boxer modeled on Mike Tyson, according to Yahoo. His gaming method was to keep hitting the square button. That joke tells you exactly how this production wants to sell itself: famous people, recognizable moves, a wink before the punch lands.

Schulz plays Dan Hibiki, the obnoxiously cocky, famously feeble fighter. DualShockers calls him the perfect loser and worries the joke may not survive contact with a feature film. Fair. Dan works because the games let him be pathetic at speed.

Eric André appears as Don Sauvage, the tournament’s eccentric announcer. AOL described him addressing the roaring crowd and declaring that only one fighter will become world champion. Richters, the 7-foot-2-inch “Dutch Giant,” plays Zangief, the Russian grappler with the chest hair and the size the role demands.

This is a cast assembled from Hollywood, wrestling, hip-hop, stand-up and martial arts. The movie’s actual gamble is not whether fans recognize the characters. They will. It is whether the film can stop all those performers from shouting in separate movies at once.
